It’s 03:10 in the morning. I woke up for a drink of water. On my way to the kitchen, the thought struck me that I had prepared a content plan for our website’s blog for a couple of weeks now, and the first blog posts had not appeared. I decided to review the prepared content plan, containing mostly articles from the series “What is SEO?”, which did not inspire me. I really wanted to write about something non-standard, not like everyone else, fascinating, and also so that it would convey the message and attract our target audience – owners of medium and large businesses. <\/p>\n\n

A bit of lyricism about SEO<\/h2>\n\n

The first ideas that came to my mind were related to identifying market leaders in organic traffic from search engines in Moldova (excluding brand traffic):<\/p>\n\n

  2. Top 10 most visited fitness clubs in Moldova<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Top 10 most visited dental clinics in Moldova<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    One of the main metrics in SEO is the visibility of the site for key queries in search engines (more on this later). In simple words, what queries your company’s website is being clicked on from search engines. The more thematic<\/strong> key queries, the more targeted<\/strong> visitors your site gets. <\/p>\n\n

    The sudden emergence of a case study on SEO<\/h2>\n\n

    Since I have small children, for whom it is very important to go to the pool now, I decided to immediately analyze the fitness club in Chisinau. The first one was Energy Fitness, as it is not far from our house. <\/p>\n\n

    Looking at the graph, I was very surprised as literally in 1 month the visibility of the site increased x31 times<\/strong>, from 534<\/strong> queries to 16787<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

    Based on the actual traffic and drawdown, I realized that there was nothing good about such an abnormal increase in keywords in the visibility of the site \ud83d\udc47<\/p>\n\n

    Looking at the top queries and login pages, it was clear: the site had been hacked.<\/p>\n\n
