At the end of 2015 I first got acquainted with freelance exchanges and tried myself as a copywriter, which I did not like, despite the good results. But in this way, when writing the first seo-texts, I first got acquainted with my future profession and began to be interested in the direction of search engine optimization.
At the beginning of 2016 I started to study various materials on search engine optimization on my own. The forum thread from 2010 with the book SEO: Search Engine Optimization from A to Z is still alive. I met the first experts, thanks to Sergey Koksharov aka Devaka and Mikhail Shakin. PromoPult (ex. SeoPult) and Pixel Plus channels with Artur Latypov and Dmitry Sevalnev. WebPromoExperts Internet Marketing Academy.
In March 2016 I started looking for an internship and found a great opportunity to get on a 2-month evening course Junior SEO Specialist with the possibility of subsequent employment in the company Netpeak. After successfully passing 2 interviews before the course I was happy to be informed about the possibility to try to pass with my current knowledge the final interview with the head of the search engine optimization department and immediately get the position of Junior SEO Specialist with a probationary period and without taking the preliminary courses. I passed the first three serious interviews in my life and got a position in the TOP 1 company in the country with 600+ employees and an average conversion rate of 3% from candidate applications to offers.
